No, it's not printed on the glass front.
For most iPhone models, simply check the model number printed on the back of your phone.
It should read something like "Model A1549" in fine print (Capital A followed by numbers).
If you though - "Hey, that's easy!", this may surprise you.
Text is in so tiny print, you might be needing a magnifying glass or some extra light before you read it. Here's where to look:

Tip #2: How to Tell iPhone model number from the iOS settings
